On Saturday December 17th, 2022 a Memory Walk will be hosted in Rotterdam, NL to raise money for Dementia research. The research is being done at iLive’s main Dutch hospital Erasmus MC that is also recruiting patients for the iLIVE project. “Dementia is an unfortunate part of growing older for some people with 55 million people worldwide suffering from this disease. The number is only expected to grow in the new few years. That is why the Memory walk is so important!”, explained the hospital in a note.
More information can be found at the website for the event, where people interested can also donate.
The iLive project aims to better end of life care. “This means we engage with vulnerable populations some of whom have other diseases such as cancer or dementia. All research that contributes to living well until dying well should be supported”, continues the note.
